The Chosen
Background- What is known as the "Network," an organization charged with keeping the powers of EverScape in balance with the modern world, has selected three new agents to help
with the balance of power between our world and EverScape. These three have been instructed to recruit a group of eight talented individuals to support them in their cause.
David "Stullz" "Ixion" Stull
Dave is generally the nice guy of the group. He is very loyal to those he knows, yet, to strangers he may seem to be a "lone wolf" figure.
He does, however, have a very forward and care-free outlook on life that those who knowhim understand.
His character is one that is occasionally a mystery to everyone, including himself.
He has been granted the ability to manipulate/control energy and fly.
Although a nice guy outside of battle he has a deadly percision while in battle. One thing is for sure, he doesn't miss his target.
If you screw up, you're dead. But he only fights as a last resort or to protect others from harm.
He would much rather solve a dispute without the loss of life.
He mostly uses double energy swords or his custom made energy pistols.
Mike "Ifrit" Ellis
Totally opposite to David, he ordinarilly has little regard for the people around him, including himself,
having little or no fear of death, he rushes head first into imposible situations, usually sending him to the emergency room
and the bad guys to the morgue. He was gifted with superhuman abilities, namely strength, and the power to create and control fire.
Although he puts on a happy face for eveyone, inside he is a deppressed mess.
Really he only has one fear, and it may be the greatest fear of all. Mike is full of energy and despite his reckless behavior, he
has a good heart.
Steve "Blind Hero" Kannel
Steve is a crazy blind (*mostly blind) kid and usually the comic relief. Despite his visual disability he is a technological genious and a force to be reckoned with.
He was gifted with the power to cloud minds with illusions and to turn invisible for short periods of time along with a better vision at night or low-light situations.
If at any time Steve does actually see a bad guy he could probably kill them.
Steve's weapon of choice... anything that he can grab, throw, etc....
Christine "The Forge" Ray
(concept) Chris is a care-free young woman who is not afraid to let her opinion be known, she stands up for what she believes in. She is not your typical young woman, having several male siblings, she knows how to fight back. She is recruited by David, Mike, and Steve during their search for additional agents. Her powers allow her to perform Alchemy on any object. An object can be instantly transformed into a deadly weapon or defensive shield. Along with her alchemy she has heightened senses and reflexes.
Mark "Deepstrike" Stivers
Like Mike, Mark is outgoing and fearless. He has a somewhat careless, yet comical, nature that reflects his fast paced lifestyle. Mark has high spirits and is likely to be heard cracking jokes about any situation, even in battles. The powers granted to him allow him to teleport anywhere on earth with just a thought, as long as he knows where he is going. His instantaneous teleportation powers make Mark the ideal deepstrike operative. He has also been recruited by Dave Mike and Steve.
Brandon "The Mountain" Cant
Steadfast and fearless, Brandon is like a mountain, hence his nickname given by his old school's football team. He can be extremely stubborn at times, yet also one of the kindest souls one could ever hope to meet. Because of his steadfast nature he has the power to make his muscle tissue increase, making him extremely strong and resistant to several types attacks. The downside to his powers are a decrease in speed and agility. He is also one of 5 additional strike team members recruited by the Chosen.
Elizabeth "Shiva" "Ice Queen Izzy" Campbell
Elizabeth can apear coldhearted and un-feeling to those that she doesn't care for. However, to those who do know her she is still somewhat emotionless. She has an extremely high tolerance and a misunderstood attachment for those she cares for. A hard upbringing from an emotionally distraught family is the source of her behavior. The ability to control and manipulate water and ice are her powers along with enhanced speed. Along with the other members of the strike force, she was recruited by the Chosen.
Billy "The Trigger" Masters
Billy is a very inteligent and creative young woman. She has always had a very scientific mind that can help her solve nearly any problem. She has a smile that can light up a room because of her positive nature; she has the ability to view anything from a positive light and is always happy. She is innocent to the world around her in many ways. Because of her intelligence she has been granted an increased knowledge of technology and an unexplainable power to create all sorts of gadgets eventually including a powerful suit of armor. Also recruited by the Chosen.
